According to the menu, the main course was marked as medium spicy, but the sauce was so extremely hot that we were unable to eat it. To ease the unpleasant spiciness, we ordered water, which was brought to us about 10 minutes later, and on the bill it was listed as lemonade instead of water. Diese zweite Filiale hat sich auf südindische Küche spezialisiert – und das schmeckt man in jedem Gericht. Die Aromen sind authentisch, frisch und wunderbar ausgewogen. Besonders die Dosas und Currys sind ein Highlight – perfekt gewürzt und einfach köstlich. Das Restaurant liegt sehr zentral und ist wunderschön eingerichtet – modern, einladend und mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Man fühlt sich hier sofort wohl. Der Service ist herzlich, aufmerksam und immer mit einem Lächeln. Ich kenne auch das erste Restaurant mit nordindischer Küche – beide sind fantastisch, aber jedes hat seinen ganz eigenen Charakter. Es ist toll, dass man nun in Basel beide kulinarischen Welten Indiens genießen kann! Es ist ein sehr gemütliches & herzliches Restaurant! Wir haben uns beraten lassen, da wir den genauen unterschied von nord & süd indischem essen nicht kannten. Ein traum für Vegetarier, Allergiker! Sind wir beide nicht 🥰 Wir hatten uns den für Biryani chicken mit raita & gekochtes ei und Chettinad Lamm Curry mit Malabar Parata entschieden! Die Einrichtung ist super toll gelungen!
